Abstract

The book introduces to the basic concepts of inorganic chemistry, such as atomic-molecular theory, classes of inorganic compounds, atomic structure, the periodic law, chemical bonds, equilibrium and kinetics of chemical reactions, properties of solutions, the structure of complex compounds, as well as basic chemical properties of elements. It provides some examples of problem solving, as well as tasks and exercises for independent work. The book is intended for undergraduate students majoring in chemical technologies & engineering, biotechnology & bioengineering, and pharmacy & industrial pharmacy.
